Jochem Hamerling

Jochem Hamerling was born into a musical family and started creating music at an early age. First on the piano, later experimenting with saxophone and synthesizers. His love for dance music took flight at age 17 when he moved to Chicago and discovered the city’s vibrant house scene, inspired by legends like Derrick Carter and Paul Johnson.

While his productions are hard to pin down stylistically, they always serve the dancefloor. This versatility is reflected in the wide range of labels he’s released on, including Watergate, A State Of Trance, Truesoul,Renaissance, Days Like Nights. His tracks have earned support from an equally diverse group of artists, such as Hernan Cattaneo, Marco Carola, Armin van Buuren, and Vintage Culture.

In addition to his work as a DJ and producer, Hamerling became a prominent curator for leading Dutch dance radio shows on SLAM! and Radio 538, earning a Gouden Radioring nomination for his contributions.

For Hamerling, music is more than a career—it’s a lifelong passion. Whether in the studio or on stage, he brings raw energy and a deep love for the craft, captivating audiences around the world.
